Just finished this one... I'm not quite sure that my original idea is represented here - but it doesn't really matter, since I'm really happy to use oil again!
Hi Alexandre, What is the myth you are trying to portray? I hear the proof is overwhelming of Jesus' existence. More so than that of Aristotle. Some people do think He lied, though. Or was crazy, or, told the truth.
Alexandre, For Jesus was no myth. For he died on the cross for our sins. For he is real and I believe. I do hope your heart will open up and see he loves you and then you can see for he is real. Katelen
Nice painting. It has some very bright and glowing color in it plus a great composition. The theme seems personal but its allusions give rise to all sorts of thoughts.
Thank you Christine, Jan, Rudhi, Momo Luna & Stephen! Your commenst are really nice... and as Jan suggested I'm not going to tell my original intention here.
To Poetic Artist's comment I could say a lot, but I guess it's very hard to convince persons who use dogmas instead of arguments - hence I will not even try. Well, maybe only one thing - why are you so sure about what I'm trying to say in this painting?
Very good answer Alexandre. Bravo! I should have added that I think the colors and composition are in fact very pleasing. Excellent handling of paint. Love the dark face on the bottom right too.
